What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a trauma-informed therapy approach that helps people process difficult emotions, stressful experiences, and trauma that may be stored deeper in the brain and body. By identifying specific eye positions, or "brainspots," we can access and work through experiences that may be difficult to fully process through talking alone.
During Brainspotting sessions, I often use bilateral music through headphones. This specialized audio alternates between the left and right ears, helping support the brain's natural processing and integration of emotions and experiences.
Many clients find Brainspotting helpful for reducing anxiety, improving emotional regulation, increasing self-awareness, and working through past experiences that continue to affect them today. Sessions are guided at your pace, creating a safe, supportive space for healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding.
